The owner of a salon in Toronto’s Chinatown says she’s proud of the “beautiful hair” she has in her salon.
“The hair is what’s so beautiful to me,” Elisa Sotelo said Monday.
“It’s my personal hair.”
The salon, which Sotela said she’s been working at since 2007, is in the Chinatown neighbourhood, just a few blocks from her home.
She said the shop has been a big hit with customers, who have been coming in since the winter months.
“There’s been a lot of interest from Asian people.
They just want to be able to look good and look stylish,” she said.
“I can say that I’m very happy about it.”
Sotelos salon has a large section devoted to hairstyles, with a large selection of products.
She says the customers who come in are always looking for the “perfect hairstyle.”
“It’s very flattering for me to be wearing this style.
It’s very stylish, it’s very professional, and I love the fact that they don’t have to worry about looking a certain way,” she explained.
“You can just pick the right hairstyle and you can look your best.”
Sotheby’s International Realty Canada is also advertising for hair stylists and manicurists in the area.
“If you have any interest in our services, please email [email protected] for more information,” the listing reads.
